In partnership with the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Badger Talks program, this engaging, science-forward evening brings together two dynamic speakers exploring what it really takes to live beyond Earth.
Hear from Simon Gilroy, a professor of botany whose research with NASA examines how plants grow and adapt in space, and Max Kroft, an astronomy Ph.D. candidate studying exoplanets and the possibilities of worlds beyond our solar system 🌌
Together, they’ll dive into the challenges of sustaining life in space, from growing food in zero gravity to discovering planets that could one day support human life. Expect an approachable, thought-provoking discussion designed for curious minds of all backgrounds.
