Our signature Good Morning Sports series returns on October 14 with Badgers men’s hockey head coach Mike Hastings. Fresh off a Frozen Four appearance, Coach Hastings will share reflections on last season’s remarkable run, insights into building a winning culture and a preview of what fans and supporters can expect this season.

Meet the Speaker:
Mike Hastings is the sixth head coach in Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey history. A three-time NCAA Coach of the Year, Hastings built a reputation as one of college hockey’s premier leaders during his tenure at Minnesota State, became the USHL’s all-time wins leader and served as an assistant coach for Team USA at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games. Most recently, Coach Hastings led Wisconsin’s resurgence and guided the Badgers to the Frozen Four, further cementing his reputation as one of the sport’s most respected coaches.
